June 8, 2010 - According to a Manpower Employement Outlook Survey, Iowa employers will be consistently hiring during the 2010 third quarter making the employment outlook for Iowa "the third best in the nation."
Iowa's Net Employment Outlook is at 19%, which is attributed to more companies hiring than reducing their workforce along with a high percentage of companies keeping their current workforce. Iowa's figure is 9% higher than the Net Employment Outlook for the U.S. Job possibilites appear to be the best in Construction, Transportation & Utilities, Wholesale & Retail Trade and other service industries.
