Partnership Programs: Marketing Assistance
Trade Shows
Program description: Economic developers are encouraged to attend and/or exhibit at trade shows that fit their targeted marketing plan.
a) Attend a Trade Show: Contact one of our developers to learn about upcoming regional or national trade shows that fit your marketing plan.
Conditions:
- Communities or economic development organizations must have either a quality available industrial building or an improved industrial site served by Alliant Energy.
- Communities or economic development organizations are required to have their building(s) and/or site(s) listed and up-to-date in the LocationOne Information System.
Award: Forty (40) percent of reasonable business-related travel expenses and registration fees, up to $500. Receipts for expenses are required.

b) Use Our Booth: Alliant Energy will make its 10-foot and 20-foot trade show booths available to economic developers in communities we serve to use for industrial trade show marketing outside of the Alliant Energy service territory.
- We will pay up to $250 annually for custom booth graphics.
Conditions:
- Communities or economic development organizations must have either a quality available industrial building or an improved industrial site served by Alliant Energy.
- Communities or economic development organizations are required to have their building(s) and/or site(s) listed and up-to-date in the LocationOne Information System.
- Communities or economic development organizations will market leads generated by the show only to communities within the Alliant Energy service territory.
Award: Forty (40) percent of the booth space rental, shipment, setup and other associated costs per trade show up to a maximum of $1,500.
