Business Retention and Expansion
Program description: This program supports a variety of activities for industrial business retention and expansion initiatives undertaken by community, county or regional development organizations served by Alliant Energy.
- Examples of eligible projects include, but are not limited to: sponsorship of pre-approved industrial business appreciation events; employer roundtables; the use of BRE consultants for projects; and making call trips to headquarters of existing companies.
Conditions:
- Communities must meet the eligibility criteria with the exception: communities do not need an available industrial building or an improved site to participate in this program.
Award: Forty (40) percent of the cost of a project up to the maximum of $5,000.
