Regional Partnership Support

Program description: Regional partnership support is essential for success in today’s economic development environment. Alliant Energy will assist with the formation, organization, relationship-building and marketing efforts of regional partnerships in our service territory. Examples of eligible projects include, but are not limited to: regional organizational planning; competitive strategies development; marketing campaigns; communications and branding activities; and legislative efforts.

Conditions:

• Preference is given to regional partnerships that have received an award from the state economic development department.

• Financial support is pro-rated based on the number of communities and type of service we provide within the region.

Award: We will provide 40 percent of the cost of a regional partnership marketing or organization effort up to a maximum of $3,000 in 2006.
