Wisconsin:- 10th largest state in employment, with employment totaling 50,900 in 2002.
- Shipments totaled $9.9 billion in 2001, making Wisconsin 12th.
- Top 10 state in the number of machines installed.
Illinois:- Ranked 5th in employment, which totaled 89,093 in 2002.
- Made the top 10 lists in resin consumption, machines installed and number of facilities.
