  • 21st largest state in employment.
  • Ranked 5th in the number of rotomolding machines installed.
  • Tied for 5th place for the number of film and sheet facilities.

Minnesota:

  • Employment totaled 30,878 in 2002, earning them 15th place.
  • Ranked 2nd in the number of rotomolding machines installed.
  • Shipments totaled $5.5 billion in 2002, making Minnesota 19th in the country.
  • Placed 3rd in the number of film and sheet facilities.

Wisconsin:

  • 10th largest state in employment, with employment totaling 50,900 in 2002.
  • Shipments totaled $9.9 billion in 2001, making Wisconsin 12th.
  • Top 10 state in the number of machines installed.

Illinois:

  • Ranked 5th in employment, which totaled 89,093 in 2002.
  • Made the top 10 lists in resin consumption, machines installed and number of facilities.
  • Shipments totaled $21.1 billion in 2002, making Illinois 4th.
