The new facility in Mauston, Wisconsin, opened in 2002, concentrates production on the company’s Max-Rib product line - one of the most popular and most copied panel profiles in the metal construction industry.

Expanding a manufacturing company is an endeavor that involves an incredible amount of work. It takes due diligence to ensure that all needs are taken care of, all details are considered and all avenues are explored.

The McElroy team was interested in finding the best location to serve their current customer base in Illinois and Wisconsin, while providing access to their growing market in Iowa and Minnesota.

Several site requirements were carefully considered, including proximity to markets and highway access, labor availability, wage rates, business climate and community support.
